@piggo I'm thinking of exterior blinds as well. In fact, my upper windows need replacing, might as well replace everything there and have one with built-in blinds... I should look more into this.

@TruthSandwich Most non-Mastodon instances are actually very capable of quote-toots, funnily enough.

Also, the quoted person isn't going to get informed you quote-tooted them unless you @ them specifically.

@freemo The map might be more interesting if the color intensity would be according to the size of the population. Maybe the reds will be terribly washed out compared to the blues.

Besides, even if people don't use Mastodon anymore, it's still valid as a standalone website where you can see the latest updates.

Ha, neat. The Dutch government has their own Mastodon instance now.

After the Twitter debacle where you couldn't see posts without being logged in for a while, and it coincidenced with a storm with many emergency messages pointing to Twitter, they decided to take this step. :D
